Sourcing Corner: Coffee Table Books

The great room at the Golden Years Retreat project was simply put - great! So many amazing architectural and design moments lead to the end result. The exposed wooden beams, shiplap ceiling, and the dreamy stone on the floor-to-ceiling fireplace is the ultimate design moment. Every time I went on site-visits I just wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee by the fire - even when it was under construction because it's THAT good.

Beyond the construction elements of the project, I had a lot of fun sourcing the finishing touches for the room. My favorite part was the coffee table books that connected with my client on a deeper level. Her love for dogs and gardening coupled with her husband's roots in NYC offered me an opportunity to source unique and beautiful books.
