Behind-the-Style: The McCollum Office

This project might be one of my favorite ones to date. There are so many parallels between the design concept, my personal life, and my client’s story, too! 

To keep it short, my clients met at MSG during a New York Rangers game. They sat next to each other at puck drop and the rest is history!

Both husband and wife have full-time jobs and both need to utilize their home office space. Some might have a hard time nailing down a common design theme for a male and female who are in two very different industries but that wasn’t the case for this couple. 

Our team came up with a design concept to maximize dueling schedules with beautiful built-ins, coordinating decor and subtle nods to where it all began - The World’s Most Famous Arena. These design moments hold a deep connection to our clients. They not only share their 9-5 space on a regular basis but they also bleed blue!
